The Skywire Experience
One of the World’s longest Flying Fox’s - set right here in Nelson. The one of a kind experience is an amazing scenic ride with a shot of adrenaline flying high above the forest canopy.
Quad Bike Tours
Combining excitement and adventure the guided quad bike tours are an unforgettable adventure where guests self drive the quad bikes through native forest settings, around areas of the farm and up to the magnificent costal views of the Cable Bay area.
Paintball
Our Paintball field is in the process of getting a full makeover. We are now operating on our new site which will continue to develop over the coming months. The new site offers more obstacles, a larger site and easier access - come check it out!
Mountain Biking, E Bikes, Shuttles
Explore the Cable Bay Adventure Park at your own pace on a bike - a range of trails to suit most abilities or follow the quad bike route to Bayview for a picnic. Rental bikes and e-bikes available, free access to trails with your own bike and shuttle options available too
Fun for the whole family
We've got activities to suit everyone. Kids love feeding the tame eels or petting the animals. Walks and gentle rides around the river are suitable for the whole family and we've even got a box of toys to entertain the younger kids.
Climbing Wall
Challenge yourself on a variety of routes on our 8m high climbing wall. Up to 4 people can climb at a time, challenge the kids or sit back and watch them climb while relaxing at the Base café. Team building options and school programs available.
Cable Bay Experiences
Cable Bay is nestled just 6km further on from the Adventure Park, outstanding beauty, fascinating history and a great micro-climate makes it the perfect year-round destination to explore. Check out all the things to do in this amazing little area.

BASE CAFÉ
The Base Café at the Cable Bay Adventure Park is less than 2 km off the main road and a great spot for a cup of Pomeroy’s coffee, or a pit stop for lunch
We are open everyday except Christmas day with our usual hours of 9:30am-4:00pm
We run extended hours in the Cafe over the Summer months of November through to March:
Mon - Friday 9:30 - 5:00pm
Sat & Sunday 9:30am - 6:00pm
We have a new team in the Kitchen and have a great new menu with all our favourites still available!
Fresh cabinet food includes delicious home made pies and sausage rolls, freshly baked scones, muffins, slices and vegetarian goodies
All menu items are available for takeaway options
We are licensed! We host a nice selection of craft beer including Sawmill & local brews from Eddyline Brewery & Hop Federation. We also have a range of Seifried Wines and a large variety of non alcoholic drinks too.
